Find the parcels worth a conversation, and know why.
Landkeep ranks unprotected private land in your service area for conservation and explains every ranking with named factors and sources. It does in minutes the prospecting that usually takes weeks of GIS work, or never gets done.

1
Pick your area and priorities
Choose a county and a template (resilience, water quality, working land, or habitat) and a minimum acreage.
2
Get a ranked shortlist
Unprotected private parcels, filtered and ranked. Public land, utilities, and mostly developed parcels are screened out, and the shortlist counts every exclusion by reason.
3
See why each parcel ranks
Every score breaks down into named factors with their source, vintage, and confidence. Factors Landkeep cannot check yet are shown as unknown, never guessed.
4
Take it to your board
Print a one-page memo per parcel, or export CSV and GeoJSON with sources and the run date for your CRM or GIS.
A screening tool, not a verdict
A ranked list is where a conversation starts. Landkeep is not a title search, appraisal, baseline report, or conservation purpose determination, and it does not replace a site visit. Every page and export says so.
No owner names, no outreach automation
Landkeep does not show owner names or mailing addresses. Each parcel comes with its parcel ID, so your staff can look up the owner of record with the county once a parcel looks worth pursuing. There are no mailing lists, auto-dialers, or bulk email features, by design.
Where it works today
The beta covers 16 localities in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Parcel data comes from landrecords.us. Conservation layers such as protected lands, wetlands, and ConserveVirginia are not loaded yet, so adjacency to protected land is not checked and scores are lower than they will be. The method page lists exactly what is and is not checked.
